TEDPIX rises 2,000 points on Monday

TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 2,145 points to 1.408 million on Monday.

As reported, over 6.427 billion securities worth 34.156 trillion rials (about $117.7 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index rose 1,190 points, and the second market’s index gained 5,503 points.

TEDPIX lost 3,000 points to 1.410 million in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

The index had risen 131,000 points (10.21 percent) to 1.414 million points in the Iranian calendar week ended on November 11.

As reported, it was the highest weekly rise during the current Iranian calendar year (began on March 21).

As reported, TEDPIX has risen 99,638 points (7.61 percent) in the previous Iranian calendar month Aban (ended on November 21).

TSE is one of the four Iranian stock exchanges, and the most important one. The other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
